Migrating Corrosion Inhibitors

Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor MCI Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor MCI Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor MCI Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor MCI Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor MCI

Migrating Corrosion Inhibitor (MCI) technology protects reinforcing metal in concrete from corrosion. Deterioration of embedded reinforcement is the main cause of costly repairs, financial losses, and eventual structural failure. MCI's can provide the corrosion solution by maintaining structural integrity, rehabilitating vulnerable structures and alleviating environmental concerns.

MCI products provide protection to embedded reinforcement in both new and existing concrete structures. MCI products work by forming a protective, monomolecular layer on metallic reinforcement to mitigate corrosion. A unique feature of MCI's is that the inhibitor will migrate a considerable distance through concrete to protect embedded metals. MCI's have low dosage rates and do not affect the physical properties of concrete.
